Weaselware Pottery & Glass

Picture Gallery

These are slumped glass pieces that used to be clear purple and green plates.   They are candle holders.

I make them in numerous colors and shapes.

These are some examples of slumped glass bowls that I make.  Some are made from stereo door glass and some are made from recycled house windows or windshields.  They are functional pieces and are meant to be used.  Imagine your salad presentation in these bowls!

These are some slab rolled pieces.  In a nutshell you roll the clay and cut it and mold it into a piece versus throwing clay on a wheel.

Now for some thrown vessels....all of these were thrown on my Shimpo wheel.  These pieces are useable in the oven or microwave.  They are dishwasher safe.  I tend to like the blues, browns & greens for color, but do experiment with orange, red, black and creamsicle.

Below are some more samples of glass work and slab work.  The Maple Leaf is a Raku piece.
